Before most of the city was even awake, the 5AM Gang was already laced up and ready to celebrate one incredible year of early mornings, discipline, and community. To mark their 1-year anniversary, the gang hosted a special 5KM time trial at Philsports Track and Field Oval—a friendly but fiery race that brought all four branches together in true 5AM style.
With Runnr and Adidas co-presenting the event, the energy was high and the stakes even higher. The North, BGC, Alabang, and Makati branches showed up not just to run, but to battle for bragging rights—and more importantly, to chase new PRs and lift each other up.
Over 80 runners gave it their all on the track, with 300+ members cheering them on from the sidelines. And when the dust settled, it was BGC Branch that took home the crown as the fastest branch of the 5AM Gang.
But the biggest surprise came at the very end: the Founders’ Race. In a twist no one saw coming, the OGs of 5AM Gang hit the track to settle one last score—who’s the fastest founder? It was a fun, fiery finish to a morning full of sweat, smiles, and shared victories.
This race wasn’t just about the clock. It was about community, commitment, and celebrating just how far the gang has come—together.
